The passenger indicator light on my 2013 Prius indicates that the air bag is off when my wife (85 lbs) sit in the passenger seat. The dealer can't help and another Prius at the dealer had the same problem. Any ideas?
According to this thread, 80lbs is the weight needed for the seat to consider an "adult" to be sitting in it. Maybe try having her lift her feet off the floor and focus all her weight on the seat and see if that makes it happy.
