I replaced the head unit in my 2011 Prius with an android one a little over a month ago. Recently the passenger side speakers have begun cutting in and out. Since the car has the JBL amp, I am assuming the issue isn't from the head unit connections. Does anyone else have experience with this happening? It seems to respond to the car's movements, sometimes coming back when turning left or hitting bumps, which leads me to think the wiring could be the culprit. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!
I have blown the JBL subwoofers 3 times. If the bass is not working you can replace the speaker in the passenger door. If it is a different speaker then I am not sure as I have only replaced the 6x9 subwoofers in the front driver and front passenger doors. Edit: sounds like it is a wiring issue I would check the connections.
