About 50% of the time when I start the car, the message center tells me that I'm calling my own cell. Then I need to press the "source" button, and the button for whatever I was last listening to, to get it to disconnect. Anyone else experience this, and if so, any idea why it happens? It seems completely sporatic.
Regarding the fuel filler issue, the first response I received seemed to have the answer, and succeeding answers confirms that we are not alone. In any case, we've followed this advice, and the issue has nor recurred: Many have this experience. It has to do with the bladder in the fuel tank becoming stiff and unwilling to expand in the cold weather. The main things to do are to open the gas cap for a couple of minutes before starting to fill, allowing the bladder to relax, and to fill as slowly as possible. Some pumps go faster than others, so one can't use them full blast. Read more: Fuel filler problem | PriusChat Follow us: @PriusChat on Twitter | PriusChat on Facebook
Poster in that specific thread was referring to the fueling issues of their daughter's 2005 Prius, which does have a fuel bladder.
The only thing I can think of is 12-V battery voltage drops too much during the start-up drain, which causes sporadic behavior. This would be suspect if you dont drive much, and 12-v battery does not have enough time to charge while in "Ready" between startups. Try to use a small battery charger to bring your battery to fully charged condition, and see if mystery calls disappear. - Alex
I've experienced the phantom call on my girlfriend's iPhone 4s. Has never happened on my android and hasn't happened yet since she got the 6.
Unrelated to phantom calls, but definitely an Entune thing: Have any of you with Android 4.4 phones noticed that message alert (when a new SMS comes in) no longer works? It worked great with my existing phone till a few weeks ago. Now, if a new message comes in, it does not transfer via BT to Entune. (The message list includes only what was received when the BT connection was made.)
