I was amused to see an SMS text message claiming my PayPal account was locked up due to "suspicious purchase" and a link. I have 'read notify' turned off so they got no feedback. This morning, I contacted T-Mobile support (really good support people!) and confirmed I'd successfully forwarded the Phishing text.

Along the way, they turned me on to an 'age 55' plan that looks to save some taxes with no change in the service terms and conditions. I've also enabled autopay charged to my Amazon credit card.

As for the phishing SMS, it has gone to the bit bucket but I put in a contact, "SPAM 7726" for:

    1(650)269-7098 (probably spoofed)

The 7726 is the T-Mobile security number to forward any repeats.
