I believe that the CAR does NOT contain a phone; thus, anything you want to do with "the phone" would need to be done on your cell phone that is paired.......I'm pretty sure. Answered in the OTHER thread that you started. ONE is usually enough.
Contacts can be transferred from the phone and stored in the car's system. Here's the page in the Nav manual, which the OP should read for full details:
