I have a 4Touring, 2016, and I just updated to the iPhone 14ProMax. I wanted to put a magsafe mount in my dash, but am reluctant to attach anything to the vents or cover them up. So far, I've not seen anything superior to the windshield mount I've been using with Qi charging, but I'd prefer to get the mount off the windshield and preserve the cup holders. Anyone found a good solution? Does the ProClip model that mounts over the drivers side central vent block the AC that much?
I stuck mine to the Qi charging mat with double sided velcro. Then run the cable under the center console and plugged into a fast charge usb adapter so you get proper MagSafe speed charging.
