Saw this cruising by in Joshua Tree National Park yesterday, Friday January 21, 2010. Finally caught up to it at Keys View, the highest point in the park.
Funny you you start a thread about this topic today. I was just driving my son to the airport today and saw one about 2 miles from my house. I would have turned around and tried to talk to the driver, but we were already running late. I live in Longmont and CU Boulder has 18 of these cars to test over the next 2 years. I would love to be able to get on that list! On the way back home, I went back into the neighborhood it came out of trying to find it, no luck. As I understand it, they are only giving the cars to people who are on the smart grid. There is a home in that area that has a solar array, so I'm going to keep my eye out on that house.
