I have read that Prius 3 has a bioplastics internal . Dashboard and door panel of mine have lot of "micro scratch" how I can clean and "polish" internal whitout damaging ? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Let us all know if you have any luck. The panels may have a texture so san paper or machine polishing will flatten the surface...so I don't think that would work. I think the best you be able to do is to clean and shine. A soft toothbrush, scrub in the direction of the scratch. You could also try a stream cleaner/ water blaster to rid the scratch of dirt too. Try in this order...an interior cleaner then wax...if not a good result then try a mild polish like Meguires brand (sp) # 7. Again only rub in the direction of the scratch. Meguries also make a plastic cleaner and a separate plastic polish, yet I think above (cleaner, wax, polish) might be a better suggestion than using these products. May be a futile repair attempt...yet good luck.
