I've decided that the "flat" area that can be made behind the front seats by folding down the rear seats is not flat enough for my purposes. My wish is to cut a board that will match the contours of the car and extend from the far back of the car up to the back of the front seats. I'd like help choosing the material for the board, with these characteristics: 1. Does not bend or break when 70 kg/meter^2 is applied 2. Can be cut with a hand tool 3. Can take screws or be drilled w/o cracking 4. Is as light as possible while (1) - (3) is true
1/2 plywood with reinforced bracing on the underside. You can wrap it in material to match the interior. You can also put feet / legs under it to level it out as the seat is not a true flat surface. How about two tone with fabric that matches the two tones of the interior? ......
