I present the following tidbit without comment. For the moment I am neither taking a position nor asking for the opinions of others (though, of course, this being Fred's, you may offer whatever comments you like.) I reserve the right to decide for or against at any time. It would appear that Aristotle made the assertion that poetry is better than history because (still according to Aristotle) poets never lie, while hostorians always do.
