I for one would like to see this "automotive" forum free of political comments. There are many other sites to discuss political topics.
You should read the individual automotive forums and avoid, as Proco suggested, Fred's House of Pancakes. Many of us who've been here for a long time find additional stimulation and incentive in discussing things beyond cars. And thus one of the some 15 forums is dedicated specifically as the exclusive location for such discussions.
