Was not sure where this was coming from, but now thinking it's exclusively when I'm on Priuschat. It's very intermittent, every 5~10 minutes or so, sounds like someone plugged in a speaker, that kind of scratchy-pop sound. Just me?
There are very few things that can play audio over a webpage. Since the stock forum code does not, the only thing that could do that would be an advertisement. I don't see any ads at all on any website so I don't know if some of them are using embedded flash or video, but that would be where I would search first if you believe it to be a problem and do not want to globally block all advertisements.
Don't know what the heck it was, and it's gone. Cosmic debris, lol. <Addendum, about an hour after above posting: wouldn't you know it, it's baaak. Just the once today. Sounds kind of like someone hanging up a phone, but more just like a scratch or static. Only on PriusChat, but how much of a factor is that when I'm here most of the time, lol.>

No, and none taken. It's was a scratchy pop sound, very intermittent, definitely came through the pc speakers. And it seems to have shuffled off, anyways. Never mind.
Let's hope it's gone for good. Although, now that you mention it, there seems to be far more static here than there used to be.....
