Yeah, still commuting with the Prius since it won't die. (y)
40k miles since head gasket and over 200k on odo.
Probably I should do EGR cleaning before my kid take the car to college next year. :)

    Welcome to Prius Chat (y).

@SFO usually has some lying around:).

Haven’t locked down a weekend yet, but @Pedal Logic in Lafayette may be able to host;).

I’ll check with him and see if a couple of weekends from now works(y).

Thanks a lot. I've been postponing changing the fluid for too long. I actually plan on trying to change it myself when winter break comes if the meetup is still undetermined..

Looks like ATF CVT Fluid FE is the most recent standard (according to Wikipedia)... you wouldn’t want to upgrade what’s in your Prius?

    Found a 4L can for ~$68.

    Thanks for the welcome! :)

Definitely looking forward to it. Been too long since my last DIY repair session.

I’m good for beer/wine/whisky/coffee [iced/hot/cold brew] & any food I can offer as compensation for the aid (y)

As far as I'm concerned, as long as it's working perfectly fine, you don't have to change them. Just inspect them and see if they're clean and fine.

110K miles is about the time to replace spark plugs.

If you wait until they fail, it’s repair, not maintenance.
