Wow the glass wind deflector really takes up space with the supporting arms, reducing the width of the hole in the roof. Courtesy of Patrick Wong
Here is my favorite picture of the 2010 Prius. Eliminating the internal drive chain and replacing it with a pair of meshing gears. - Really a thing of engineering beauty.
My fave out of the ones I took this morning! [ame="http://www.flickr.com/photos/kinghuang/3353425423/in/set-72157615184378319/"]Solar Details on Flickr - Photo Sharing!@@AMEPARAM@@http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3542/3353425423_26162d4ca1.jpg?v=0@@AMEPARAM@@3353425423@@AMEPARAM@@26162d4ca1[/ame]
Cool engine 1.8L: Excellent heat recovery and cooled EGR: Notice, no belt. Just two, right? Bob Wilson
Hi Bob, I think that photo is not of the Prius engine (probably a Lexus engine instead) since the sign talks about VVT-i on both camshafts. Prius has VVT-i on the intake side only. Here are my three picks (I'm attaching tiny files): The first with my DW about to testdrive the Barcelona Red in Los Angeles. The second of the main relay/fuse box. Who will be the first lucky 2010 owner to blow this due to a botched jumpstart? And finally, me with Otsuka-san (Prius Chief Engineer) at PC Detroit. What a treat to have him available to answer our Qs.
Patrick, That is the prettiest main relay/fuse box I've ever seen. Keith P.S. What would you expect from an electronics engineer??? :mod:
