I appreciate the efforts of those who post articles from the NY Times and other papers and magazines but I get frustrated by the number of articles which require the reader to open an email subsription account in order to read. I did this once with the NY Times, but then had way more email from them than I wanted or that my account could handle.
Is it possible to cut and paste an article into notepad or wordpad, then post it on Priuschat so that we could read it without having to open an account with the source magazine or newspaper. Anyone else frustrated by this?

I agree that it's more convenient when folks post the whole article, it is a violation of copyright laws and puts the whole site in jeopardy.

What I can suggest is this site - Bug Me Not - you simply input the url of the site and it will give you a username and password. It allows the site to get their hits and advertising revenues and you keep your privacy.

hmmm if you got spam from the New York Times, go
back and opt out of the newsletters you signed up for.
you should get nothing but a single email a day
highlighting the areas of the paper you wish to hear
    about.

as for copying the articles, the NYT is famous for having
the longest articles of any paper ive seen and i read
about 20 on an irregular basis.

Yep, that's all I get; one per day.

Another suggestion is to use a Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail address. They're free and I've learned it isn't really necessary to provide your real name, address, etc.

How about I just set up [email protected] and then we can all use the paassword priuschat.

I'll have the email forward on to my spam yahoo account. Maybe that will be easier for everyone to remember?
