Hey Guys, What sort of tools do I need to customise settings for door lock? I want to have this function turn ON: Function that locks all doors when the shift lever is moved from P to any position other than P while the engine is running and all doors are closed. Can more than one function be active at a time? Or is it one or the other? I want the doors to lock and unlock based on the P(ark) selector position. However, I also want the doors to automatically lock based on the speed of the vehicle, such as dropping off a child at school. The car is pulled up to the curb, selector is left in D with brakes applied, car is unlocked with armrest power lock master switch, or by opening door. Pull away from curb without manually locking the doors with master switch.
Hi Nakamoto, The customizable parameters are for US Prius and may not be applicable to your Australian Prius. Please check your Owner's manual first. If yours is not equipped with this feature, no tools can enable them, not even Techstream. Vincent
It's possible to have both but I haven't tried. When I purchased my car, it's default to lock when the shifter is on D and unlock when it's on P.
