Power inverter overnight to charge laptop?

    Hi! Anyone know if I'm able to run a 12V to 110V AC Car inverter
    overnight so I can charge by laptop? Don't want to wake up to a dead battery.

    Unless you leave the car "ON" (in the ready mode) so that the engine will run when needed, you probably WILL wake up to a dead battery.
    You would be MUCH better off to run the inverter from a second battery or a jump pack.
    Or have a spare battery for the laptop.

    Wouldn't it just be easier to plug it into a 117vac wall socket?
