Well, we lost power this weekend for a short period of time, right as we were getting ready for our day. We just replaced our tanked hot water heater with an externally mounted, gas powered tankless heater. I ran my 800w inverter to my 2014 PiP's 12v battery, ran an extension cord to my water heater, and were able to shower away. The electrical load is minimal, pretty much just electronics to light the gas heater. Ran the same extension cord inside, and was able to run a hair dryer, albeit at the low setting. This was a nice test, I'd originally planned for the inverter to power our fridge for periods of time if needed.
