Press the "P" button prior to turning off car

    I just noticed if I turn off the car without putting it in park it would do it automatically. Is that safe or do you always put it in park first?

    I rarely use the P button. Just when I want to stop and let someone open the passenger side or back doors.

    It will not hurt anything to use P before turning it off, but it is automatic if you don't.

    Ahhh, the Park button,.....you can skip that at Power Down...
