My dealer is quoting $40 to program a new fob, but $270 to buy it. I'd like to buy a cheaper one on eBay and pay the dealer to program. I don't need the hassle of trying to program myself but I'd like to save $100 or more. Has anybody actually followed this path? Somebody at the dealer said eBay fobs were used and couldn't be re-programmed, which I definitely don't believe. But I want to be sure. THANKS.
