Prius 2008 making noise like rewinding something every time I hit power button to shut down Prius

    Prius 2008 making noise like rewinding something every time I hit power button to shut down Prius.
    Its like more than 30-40 second noise. What is it? It does not make noise in my boss's Prius.

    There is a 3 liter reservoir of hot coolant that is saved when you stop, so that when you start again, it is still warm. This helps both mileage and emissions.

    It should be there on all 2004 to 2009 Prius in the US.
