after car service, my prius has shown the error of "check hybrid system" and the check engine light turns on after this error it won't be able to run on a battery until I reset .After getting reset, it worked fine for 2 or 3 days but then same error comes up. Please help me out
What was involved in the service? Dealership, or independent mechanic? How many kms on it? Might also have something to do with failing 12 volt battery, is it the original?
Any water get on any electrical connections or is there water in the back of the car near the batteries? Water in the fuse box? Was it raining a couple of days later?
Its been 3 weeks since I have washed my car and engine room was not touched during the service. And it wasn't raining.so there is no chance of water in fuse box.
Or in the back. Too much of a coincidence and needs investigation prior to additional troubleshooting .
