On your steering wheel, you can navigate from trip A to trip B. I use trip A for the entire tank, and use trip B to give me feedback for individual trips. Don't worry about how many miles the computer tells you that are remaining. That's just an estimate. When the fuel gauge starts to blink, get some gas. You should still have around 2 gallons remaining, which would give most people here 90-100 miles (you can recalculate for metric).
