Prius 2012 Sensor Assembly Smart Unit is separate from HV Battery pack?

Hello,
Trying to find out if "Sensor Assembly Smart Unit" is separate from, or included with a Battery Pack Assembly. The dealership is telling me BOTH are bad and need replaced and gave me estimate with both prices + labor together. I was thinking about buying after market battery pack assembly (from Green Bean or similar) and plugging that in. Does someone know if the "Sensor Assembly Smart Unit" as the dealership is calling it, is included with a new/reconditioned battery pack.
I am not mechanical or technical. My b/f and I did manage to pull and clean my hybrid cooling fan one time; and I do have the Torque app + Module. (I got as far as it pulling codes P0B3D and P08A0).

Any advice is appreciated.
