Hi guys My prius 2014 model gen3 give me some error code please help me to find it issue , when morning i start my card Engine and AC on from getting some noice (ghummmmm ghummmm) B1475 A/C Inverter Cooling/Heating System B1441 Air Mix Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit (Passenger Side)
B1475 means the A/C inverter (the electronic circuit that makes the A/C compressor motor move) got too hot and shut down. In gen 2, the A/C inverter was located in the big inverter assembly under the hood, and cooled by the flow of pink coolant like all the rest of that. But in gen 3, the A/C inverter is built into the A/C compressor, and cooled by the refrigerant passing through. The code might be caused by the wrong amount of refrigerant, or a problem with the condenser cooling fans, but if it isn't something simple like that, the fix will probably be compressor replacement. There just isn't that much else for it to be, in a gen 3.
And it looks like you may be in a place where the air conditioning never ever is turned off like you turn the car off by the button and leave the air conditioner fan and lamp and compressor spinning. You just turn the system off. I imagine that's quite hard on the system just in general. And in a place like Dubai oh my goodness I can't even imagine I always shut my air conditioning compressor off with the button before I turn the car off and take power away from everything abruptly to me this seems to make sense all these sensitive pieces of equipment these dainty little inverters and all this kind of stuff just slamming power away from them on and off like that seems not very correct in my mind whether it is or it isn't it just doesn't seem like that's what I should be doing just like an expensive equipment like an airplane a submarine expensive boats there's the starting procedure and all of that stuff certain switches are flipped and things are done I'm sure for reasons I do realize in in vehicles for the masses they do try to save us from ourselves but there's only so much of that that can be done.
No. The point of what I posted was that in a gen 3 Prius (like yours), this code has nothing to do with coolant water.
