After I took my Prius to a mechanic, the remote starter stopped working. The mechanic shop has no idea what the issue is. They even believed that my car did not come with a remote starter. Does anyone have any idea how to re-enable the remote starter system? 2014-Type 3
    Thanks

What is the name and brand of this system?

What is the operating principle of the system?

The specialist who installs the remote start system uses his own features to make the start system less vulnerable to unauthorized persons.

    This is protection against theft.

It would be logical to contact the person who installed the remote start.

When we bought our 2011 used the remote start didn't work either - we got them to fix it. From what I remember, been awhile, but they said a cable was 'pinched' and had to be replaced. I think they said under the hood but am unsure, hope that helps somewhat at least for a place to look.
