Dear all... I would like to ask if I change my audio system to Philips CID2680... any problem would cause.. e.g. the bluetooth.. the control swith on steering wheel...etc thanks for your information
From my research readings on changing the Head Unit [I haven't replaced mine yet], it shouldn't be an issue but you do have to wire up all those items so they'll continue to work. The process for a non JBL system is described in http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...-toyota-prius-model-ii-head-unit-upgrade.html If you have the a JBL radio installed you'll need PAC TATO to power the JBL amp. To retain the steering wheel controls you have to use a Pac SWI-PS v1.6.8, Pac SWIJack or what ever is appropriate for the Philips unit you are going to install. Since your installing a new HU you'll be using the bluetooth from that unit and will need to install a new microphone for that.
