    Hello all.

    Prius 4, 2016, 75k miles, UK model.

Recently I had a common problem with white cloud from exhaust, so instead making a bypass I decided to invest in new cat converter. No problems with availability. Cost for cat and 2 gaskets: £1266 VAT included.

Really easy job, the main problem was to lift the car high enough, but managed to do it.

Problem solved, but I decided to scan for errors using vgate plug and CarScanner. Got a P2681(72) error - coolant bypass valve stuck open.

Happy to change the valve, but it seems the job isn't so easy like with catalytic converter.

    QUESTION:

Could anybody point me how to remove this little bastard as for me it seems that I have to remove inverter to get access to this valve.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Update - still no info how to do it, but got another error P2681(9C)

@AdeelUK help, you are probably the only guy who know how to dismantle this bastard...

Those of us in the US don't even have that little bastard (except for some people who have swapped their engines for imported ones and posted in puzzling threads about it).

That's the reason why I'm trying to get involved @AdeelUK

Can you get at it if you remove the EGR Valve?

Don't know yet, but it was my idea for weekend job, just waiting for that valve delivery. It seems that removing EGR could be easier than messing around the inverter...

    Thanks anyway.
