I have a 2014 Prius C, and I want to replace the car stereo/radio (not sure if that is the right word) and I was looking at having it double as a rear camera as well. What is currently there looks quite small but I was hoping for some suggestions. Also, how hard would it be to install it myself if I have little to no experience with cars?
It's been done. If you know electricity/electronics but not cars, it'll be pretty easy. If you don't know cars and ALSO don't know wiring/electric basics then it can really be a steep learning curve. On the other hand lots of towns still have car audio shops, it would be a pretty simple job for them.
