Hello. I am looking for someone who has maybe done this already. I have a '13 Two and want to add a backup camera. If I buy the OEM kit, will the kit come with everything already, or will I need additional stuff. I have a Corolla radio in the car now and I know there is a spot on the back of it. How does the radio know to switch to the backup camera? Any help would be useful. Thank you!
you would need to splice the reverse signal wire from behind the driver's knee panel to the corolla radio, so it knows when car's in reverse and switch the display to camera. I wrote up a guide, it's in the backup camera thread and some other threads, go read it. I did the same thing with a corolla radio on my C2, so yours shouldn't be any different.
