A 2006 Prius I ordered back in September arrived last weekend. Unfortunately, the paint was damaged during dealer prep and the car is unacceptable for delivery. :angry: I have been told that the best the dealer can do it put me at the top of their waiting list. Consequently, I will have to wait at least one month, and possibly longer if my option package (Black #8) isn't in next month's allotment. Is there anything I can do to get my car faster? (This is in the Seattle area.)
Vehix.com shows several Black #8s within 75 miles. Ask your dealer to arrange a dealer trade. If he refuses, contact one or more of the dealers that has the car you want. Tell them you've got money and are ready to buy and ask how much of a break from MSRP they'll give you to come in today and buy the car. Good luck.
Won't they paint it for you? If they damaged the paint, they're going to have to fix it before they sell it to anyone else.
