just put new hankook optima h727 p195/60r-15 tires on my 2004 prius in march,i am now buying a prius c and want to put these on the new prius c instead of the factory tires,would they cause a problem?i'm thinking not but i don't know anything about tires. thanks for any help,mike
I agree, they should work, but be advised the tires will seemed pinched with a 195 on a 5 inch rim. I sorta experimented with 195 tire son the c, but on a wider rim. kkim is becoming the resident wheel guru for the c so I defer to his knowledge on these cars. I also agree the tire may be a bit pinched as the recommended wheel size for that tire is 5.5 to 7".
I don't know if guru is the correct term... more like one dumb enough to try different things. My aim is to augment the collective wisdom that is already here on PC and hopefully contribute something useful, someday.
