I understand why you wrecked your SUV, why did mommy not notice and give you another car to wreck? Virtually all cars come with an owners manual.
:welcome: most of us voted for palin and have gun racks in our pri. it is not built for speed and daily runs over a hundred mph probably won't work well in the long run. i don't have an eleven so not sure but i think the brake thing might be hill assist. i call my pri 'speedy'. all the best in your decision!
In the post that's now gone, it sounds like the OP engaged the hill assist (http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-main-forum/78750-hill-start-assist-kinda-cool.html). I have no 3rd gen so I have no experience with it.
