I have a 2012 THREE Prius with a homelink rearview mirror. It looks exactly like picture below: Button1 was programmed to open my garage door. After two months of usage, Button1 stopped working. Pressing Button1 produces rapid blinking red of the indicator light and then goes solid red after a few seconds. I think something is broken because the green light beside the '1' and '0' buttons used to be on whenever I started my car. Now it never turns on. Any ideas as to what has gone wrong? I want to re-program the darn thing, but my other remote is in another city.
Green light off means auto dimmer off. Right button turns it on. However the rf functions for openers will work even if the green autodimmer led is off. Probably someone accidentally cleared it by going into programming mode. Next time program all three to work the door, then if someone is having fun with the buttons you still have another to use.
