hi all, i just bought a new prius 1month ago in malaysia. today sumthing happen to my prius. i went to the grocery to buy sumthing while leaving the car on with the key inside. then when i get back in the car i see the mfd shows that key is not detected but the key is still inside the car. then i tried to off the car and restart it, it say key not detected n the mfd ask me to put the key on the push button in order to start the car. when i reach home, i found out that i cant lock the key using the remote control. i also did tried on my spare key..also same thing.. anyone know whats going on with the smart key system??
check the fob battery and if that's okay, maybe try disconnecting the 12v for a few minutes and reconnect to reset the computers?
