Effective today, the Prius (and other hybrids) are eligible to use the HOV lanes of the NJ Turnpike with only one occupant. My morning commute just got a whole lot faster Since NJ troopers, while well-meaning, aren't known for their analytical thinking, I plan on keeping a printout of the announcement from the turnpike website, just in case. http://www.state.nj.us/turnpike
