has anybody use the 90915-YZZA1 filter in place of the 90915-YZZA2 filter. Looks to be the same has the same base and anti-drain back valve but is about 1 1/4" longer in the body? Just curious as we have about 250 of the A1's in stock and had to order the A2's. I know that there is a lot of clearance for the longer filter. But was just thinking I'd ask the group.
Frank, The filter on th Prius is the same as the filter on my 89 Toyota MR-2. The super charged MR-2 uses a tall filter and the non super charged uses a short filter (same as the prius), they are interchangable.
Thanks, I thought that it'd work no problem. The price is the same for me and we have the A1 in stock. And the drain plug gasket also.
