    I doubt those are rims... they look like plastic hubcaps.

    personally, I could do without the extra chrome pieces... but this is japan, and they do like their bling (I was in a meeting with NTT DoCoMo back in the late 90's and their lead engineer came to the meeting in a suit... gold (pants, jacket), with a teal shirt and a bright orange tie).

    interesting that they don't show the inside.

    Looks like it to me. Just add some plastic bits and charge extra for a different look.

    That's just a Modellista version of the current Prime.

    There are several versions available in Japan: Precious-Blue Style, Iconic Dress Up, Modellista, Modellista Selection and TRD. Then there's the GR Sport.

    I love the Modellista rims as well but 18" rims can't be good for the ride (or the range. You definitely won't be getting 30 miles to the charge). (Ditto the GR Sport's 18" rims)
