Prius Prime Advanced 2017. Broken front left window. I enjoy doing my own repairs when able and thought I could do this on my own. Glass should be here tomorrow. Thought I'd get a head start and remove the broken window. Took off the door panel and found that access to the window was different compared to any other video I had found. No plastic film to remove, just cords and metal. Anyone know of a guide to do this? I worry I bit off more than I could chew.

    Thanks in advance.

Take it to a glass shop if you can't figure it out.
Remove the front and rear weather stripping to give yourself some extra space and DO NOT put excessive pressure on the glass to fit it in. Slide the weather stripping back in, once the glass is in place.

    Good Luck....

Yep I've had great work done by SafeLite to repair windshields and side windows....give them a call, hopefully only charge you half an hour of labor to pop it in...they are wicked fast.
