Having owned a Gen-1 and Gen-3 Prius, I experienced the differences between a single, Gen-1 forum hidden under a Gen-2 forum versus the suite of technical forums for the Gen-3. Owning a 2017 Prius Prime, I would observe that Prius Prime December sales, 1641, is between the Prius c, 1644, and Prius v, 1373, and they have (and use) sub-forums. So I would like to suggest: Please don't make the Gen-1, PiP, into a sub-forum like what happened to the 2001-03 Prius. We often saw new forum users having difficulty finding this forum for their used car. Although I no longer own a Gen-1 Prius, I still think it should be promoted to be a peer within the Gen-2 forums. The top list of forums is getting a little busy which is understandable given 16 years of USA Prius models. Navigation is OK but sometimes it gets a little 'scrolly'. NOTE: if making a change returns to 'database hell', never mind. <GRINS> Bob Wilson
i doubt we'll get break out forums for the prime. maybe in a few years, if it starts selling in any decent quantity. even then, unlikely. if anyone can get it done though, it's Pp^^^.
Thanks, but I failed with Gen 1. Remember? Gen 1 Prius Forum Buried | PriusChat They could likely do what they did for Gen 4 - Rename the current Forum, add new ones and then move some threads to the new forums. I would expect the Gen 1 PiP to be at that same level, though.
