I have a 2008 Prius Touring model. The right yellow running lamp does not light when the lights are turned on (no power to the socket). It does flash when the car is locked/unlocked. I was hoping to find separate right/left fuses. The owners manual shows: "Fuse 25, DRL -- Daytime running light system." My car does not have this fuse -- maybe because it's a Touring model with the discharge headlights. My owners manual d/n show relay layout. Thanx for any help.
US Gen 2 Prius do not have DRLs. Perhaps you are looking at the Parking lights? Page 10 of this PDF http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM47613U/pdf/sec_06-01.pdf
I was hoping to get back to this post before anyone spent (spelled w-a-s-t-e-d) time replying. Turns out I had an acute attack of cranial rectitus, complicated by symptoms of terminal dumb a.. I was trying to fix the side marker lamp, but I was physically handling the turn signal lamp instead. I didn't even see the correct lamp until I realized it was the larger turn signal lamp that flashes when the car is locked/unlocked, not the little 5 watt side marker. It was simply a burned out bulb. Ignorance exposed! Thanx, Jimbo, for the link to the manual.
