Hello, I just joined this forum. I have a 2010 Prius that I bought new on 10/2009 that currently has 74K miles on it. I drive over 1100 miles per week and wanted to know is anyone has heard if a company would be willing to sponsor my car? I'm not looking for a new car or handouts, just curious.

wow, 100 minutes in the car each way... I only am in car less than 5 minutes to drive to the train station (less than mile), and have less than 4,600. Bought in May 2010... Think anybody would sponsor my car, or me for that matter?

I don't get it either, but I'm thinking they want to sell advertising on the side of their Prius? That's my best guess.
I signed up for sponsorship (car advertising) on my car a long time ago (forgot the website). I drive about 50k a year all over LA. Never got any responses. Also emailed big time brands (ie. Pepsi, Nike, etc.) to let them know about me.
If you find a time machine and can go back to the year 1998, it was fairly common for DotComs to wrap cars for money:
and there were a lot of flatbeds with vertical signs set up in the middle and tractor trailers as well. they would drive up and down the highways and park in the rest stops. i think they either made it illegal or they went with the dot com bust?
Why do you drive so much, maybe what or whom ever the reason for that is could sponsor you? If its your employer ask them or if your self employed sponsor your self and put your name on the side (although not necessary), and deduct your mileage and expenses if you could?
