I traded in a wonderful 2008 Prius with 106,000 miles. The bluetooth was perfect. I bought a 2013 Prius V level 5 in Oct, 2013. From day one the bluetooth reception was horrible. Toyata checked it out and says it is working as designed. I called the Toyota headquarters in CA and they said the same. Is anyone else having this issue??? Sad commentary that that a 2008 works perfectly and six years later one would think the technology would be better, not worse. SHAME on Toyota!!!!
How old is your phone ? While it is still a sad commentary, it IS true that old phones with new cars aren't always a good match.
OTOH, the story going around is that iPhone 6 is incompatible with BMW, Audi, Infiniti, Lexus and a number of other luxury car audio systems.
