Prius v care....'Glad' press n' seal tip.

    It happens to everybody when opening the driver side door (or any car door),that we push the door outward when we try to open it using our elbow on that little arm rest of the door.Let me tell that after so many months of opening the door that arm rest becomes black from your dirty elbow.Simply fix,buy yourself 'Glad' press n' seal right on the arm rest,after a while you may need to replace with a new one because it will unglue itself especially in the summer time,I put mine on about a month ago and it still there.See picture below.

    The armrests and center console were the reason I went Softex. Sun screen, stickey fingers from fast food or just the oils from your skin ...

    Sort of reminds me of the clear plastic slip covers my mother-in-law put on her couch 20 years ago.
    Hot and sticky in the summer and cold and stiff in the winter.

    I do respect your desire to keep your car looking new, though.

    Yup! Just wipe n go should a mess present it self. And no real sticky legs/ thighs/ back like real leather. Best of both worlds :)
