My wife's new v five with Adv Tech Pkg is giving me fits. We're trying to download contacts from her phone and it stops midway and encounters an error. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones and have identical settings. My phone connects and successfully downloads all my contacts. Her's does not. Any ideas? Btw, I have removed her phone and readded it. The same problem persists. I've looked at her contacts and nothing pops out as strange. I've even removed my phone and tried it. No difference. Help, before I pull the rest of my hair out. Thanks!
just a swag: Remove your phone and then attempt to download just hers. Maybe there is a total contact limit that you are hitting. I entered just a few numbers to have on the "home screen". For anything else, I'll just have Siri voice dial for me. She seems to work ok with the Prius Bluetooth system. I have 630 contacts in my iPhone, so I think having them all loaded in the Prius is of limited use. /Jim
I did try loading hers alone (remove my phone). Still having the same issue. The system is capable of up to 5 devices and up to 2500 contacts each. So I don't believe it's a quantity issue. What I'm trying to figure out is whether it's a system issue or her phone. Thanks for the reply.
May be some of the contacts have info in them the phone won't accept - for instance if there's text in the phone number then it won't load (i.e.; 212 555 1212 x1234) Also max 4 numbers per contact. Not sure what happens if there are 5+ numbers but this may block loading as well
