2016 Prius v. Looking for micro fiche/ picture of the left (drivers) side fairly large black plastic bracket which appears to bolt on with one bolt with the purpose of the bracket being to retain the top rear edge of the rear bumper cover. The bracket is directly below the tail light assembly. Any one have a link to a parts diagram showing that bracket? Or part number and cost? I could not identify this part in any of the part houses photo I searched. I could identify the side black plastic retainer bracket but not the rear one. Also does anyone know if this rear bracket just bolts on or are the addition clips on that bracket which secures it to the sheet metal if removed? Any tricks if any clips? Thanks.
It is on this diagram? Look here. Genuine OEM Rear Body Parts for 2016 Toyota Prius V Four - Olathe Toyota Parts Center
Thanks Pro...I saw that fiche. Yet by diagram, none of the drawings look like the bracket. The diagrams word description is not helping me deduced the part either. So, I still need some guidance locating this part. Again thanks Pro.
Hi Georgina, saw that pic too. I am so surprised it is not on that diagram, as that's where I would expect it. The diagram you posted shows # 5 the plastic side bumper cover retainer. Then # 9 is the a panel in the rear of the wheel well. (# 5 & 9 are made of the same material as the bracket I am seeking) I would expect the part I am seeking to be in that diagram position as # 10. It is just not there. Thanks everyone.
The best available diagrams are those on parts.toyota.com, which uses the Electronic Parts Catalog data and illustrations from Toyota in Japan, rather than diagrams redrawn by third parties. See Figure 52-02, Rear Bumper & Bumper Stay. I can’t be sure, but the part in question may be the Left Rear Bumper Side Retainer (52576-47030), identified in the illustration by its part name code, 52576.
