We loved our 2012 Prius v five. We got a terrific deal on the exact model we wanted just 4 days after they were introduced in the US (thanks Dianne). We kept it in great shape over the years. No accidents, no door dings, no rock chips (credit to clear bra). We just sold it with 77,030 miles. The buyer already has a 2012 Prius v, but in rough shape and with over 200k miles. They mentioned that - because the v is no longer imported - they'd been looking for a Prius v in pristine condition for some time. Just 12 hours after we posted our Craigslist ad, they bought and paid for ours. The sales price was at the upper end of NADA/KBB private party prices so each of us felt like we made out all right. IMO, a Prius v is more desirable and holding its value better than expected due to its scarcity. Maybe Toyota's decision to stop importing them was a blessing in disguise for current Prius v owners.
