Saw on the news the night before last some people are targeting the Prius and breaking windows and tail lights out in the Seattle area. They also said this was happening in California. Fist they trashed the big SUV's, now the friendly Prius. Can't we just mind our own dam business and worry about our selves?
Unfortunately, I'm moving (back) to the Seattle area in the next few weeks. Did they say what part? I'll be living on the the Eastside. I haven't heard of any vehicle types, Prius included, being targeted in the SF Bay Area on the news but then again, I don't watch the local news every day.

Things like this are just pointless, thrashing political statements from extremists who don't know how to control themselves (and from idiots who will use any excuse for destruction and mayhem). "Oh, the big issue of the day is gas guzzling, smog belching SUV's? Lets do our part and trash a few of them!" "Oh, now we're talking about hippie, Prius-driving lefties that want to control our life and ruin our economy by clamping down on emissions? Lets teach them a lesson!"
Ouch, if they break the rear or side windows it's ridiculously expensive to replace. My rear window cost three times as much to replace than the front window of my minivan.
