I went to start my 2005 Prius, and all the lights in the car flashed on for a moment then died. I can't start my car, no dome lights came on. I was able to jump it easily and drive fine, but once I turned my car off it won't turn back on again. I assume the 12v battery is dead, but the lights flashing on for a moment and then shutting off has me worried it was some sort of fuse or something else. Any thoughts?
If you could jump it you probably have a dead battery. There is a fuseable link in the positive battery terminal though. After you start the car check the voltage at the battery terminals and let us know what it is.
