The MH17 facts and data: ~150 dead from the Netherlands with a population ~15 million. Scaled to the USA population, it would be close to 3,000, the rough numbers lost in 9/11. But this is not something that needs a public display as much as private expressions of sympathy. Too many are willing to exploit the dead for some personal agenda and that is not appropriate for us removed from the tragedy. It makes sense and shows character to send private messages of sympathy to those we know who may have been touched. Bob Wilson
